Staff Support Networks
Networking can often be the secret to a successful career. Making links with people with shared interests, responsibilities and pressures can lead to new opportunities and provide the support and advice to overcome the barriers to success
A number of support networks have been developed at the University to address a wide range of needs across the institution. These provide staff with the opportunity to connect, socialise, support one another, and to discuss issues of relevance to their communities. They bring people together, allowing peers to share knowledge and experience, offering emotional, social or practical help to those involved, and encouraging open discussion around issues affecting women and men within higher education.
Current groups and networks are:
- Carers and Parents (CaP) Club
- iCAN — Living with Cancer
- International Staff Network
- LGBTQI+ Staff Network
- People of Colour (POC)
- Menopause Staff Network
- Neurodivergent Staff Network
- Staff Disabilities Network
- Women in Science, Engineering & Technology (LincolnWiSE)
If you are interested in being involved, or would like to set up another group, then please get in touch!
