LGBT+ History Month


February is LGBT+ History Month. The 2024 theme celebrates LGBT+ peoples’ contribution to the field of Medicine and Healthcare both historically and today. As well as celebrating at the University of Lincoln, with our programme of events including workshops, talks and an exhibition, Lincoln staff and students are also invited to join the Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust events.

A new policy on gender-based violence

Since the first research on the prevalence of domestic and sexual violence across UK universities by the National Union of Students (2010), there has been an increasing focus on these issues within university communities. The University of Lincoln has recently launched a new policy on gender-based violence for both staff and students.
