Worldw-ide Fund
The Worldw-IDE Fund was established in 2018 to support University staff, across a range of international activities, to alleviate disadvantage or under-representation in terms of Inclusion, Diversity and Equality
About the scheme
The Worldw-IDE Fund is an open competition for all staff at the University, and provides small bursaries of up to £500 each.
The aim of the scheme is to provide support to help alleviate disadvantage or under-representation in terms of inclusion, diversity and equality.
All applicants must:
- demonstrate the need for the bursary (wrt inclusion, diversity and equality)
- demonstrate how the bursary will make a difference, and
- include an international element.
These three criteria will be used to determine the outcome of the application.
Any request for a bursary will be considered, provided it meets these criteria.
All recipients of the awards will be expected to write a guest blog for the EGC website, and provide a short report on how the bursary has contributed towards improving inclusion, diversity and equality
