As the University's central EDI department, our website aims to reflect and celebrate the wide array of EDI activities and initiatives taking place across the University. We welcome guest blog posts from both staff and students. If you'd like to submit a blog post for the website, we'd love to hear from you!

Guidelines for submissions

We accept submissions which have both an internal (University of Lincoln) and/or external focus, and have impact at a local, national and/or global level. We would love to hear about projects you are leading on or are involved in, your research, networks, activities centred around awareness- raising days and events, as well as submissions that explore inequality and social justice issues more broadly, or that highlight and celebrate meaningful change.

Word Count

There is no word limit, although posts are typically 600–1000 words.

You may include links to external webpages to direct readers to further information.

You may embed videos (YouTube, Vimeo etc.) in your post.

If you wish to supply a header image for your post, please ensure this in landscape and is high resolution (1Mb+). If you do not wish to supply an image, a suitable one will be provided. Please see here for guidelines concerning image copyright.

Please be mindful of language use. Our blog posts are designed to reach a wide audience, so try to communicate clearly and keep language concise. Steer clear of acronyms and academic terminology. Offensive language is not permitted.

The EGI reserves the right to edit submissions for grammar and spelling, but will consult with you before making any major changes.
