Tentercroft Street Car Park

On Saturday 19 August, the University of Lincoln, Eleanor Glanville Institute and Lincoln Students’ Union will be supporting and taking part in Lincoln Pride.

  • Staff and students are encouraged to join in the Parade, to celebrate and enjoy a wide range of entertainment throughout the day at the main event. It is completely free to attend.
  • The Parade starts at 11.30am at Saltergate / Guildhall Street near the Stonebow, it will make its way through town towards the main event at Tentercroft Street Car Park. 
  • If you would like to be part of the Parade, please meet the team, all of whom will be visible with University signage, between 10.30am and 11am at St Swithin's Square outside the former Angel Coffee House. 
  • A secondary meeting point is also available for staff and students unable to take part at the start of the parade, this is at 11.30am at Albion Yard between 179 High Street and the Sarah Swift Building.

Lincoln PRIDE

Since 2012, Lincoln Pride UK has been providing a fun and safe space in the East Midlands for people in Lincoln and the surrounding area. Each year, the day has grown. From our humble beginnings in City Square, to Brayford Wharf, to the spacious and central Tentercroft Street Car Park which is our latest home.

With each change, we've welcomed an increasingly wide range of members of the local community. Every year, we're stunned with the response that we get from Lincoln, its residents and the businesses which are located here.

Incorporating charities and local companies with the common goal of promoting equality and diversity is integral to making sure Lincoln Pride is a success. Not only do we rely on them for funding, but it's a fantastic way for them to show their acceptance of diversity.
